A guide to using Microsoft Voice access for Windows 11

Control your computer hands-free

This free, 7-part video training series will teach you how to control your computer with voice commands.

Who it's for

Whether you're navigating long-term accessibility needs, or recovering from an injury and need temporary support, this information is for you.

If you're a professional designer or developer, this course will help you understand how people that use Voice access interact with the digital interfaces you build.

System requirements

Voice access is part of the Windows 11 operating system. If you have Windows 10, you may be able to upgrade for free at microsoft.com (opens in a new tab).

Learn at your own pace

Each Voice access video tutorial is designed to be short, and cover a specific topic.

I recommend practising the commands covered in each video, before moving on to the next. You can watch them in any order, depending on your current level of experience and what you want to know.
